Regal was born from a concept to manufacture and distribute a wide range of ethnic food products both in the U.K. and world wide. A member of the Regal Group of companies, which for many years has become known for both the quality and variety of its range, Regal specialises in production of a wide range of bakery products, savoury snacks and sugar Confectionary.
From its headquarters in Bradford, Yorkshire traditional manufacturing methods ensure the authenticity of every product. The company’s extensive market research team is continually developing new food range's in close collaboration with its trade partners. The rapidly increasingly interest in Asian style cuisine by a discerning and venturesome public provides wide scale opportunity for the further development with extensive involvement by the group’s own R & D facilities.
Although the Group developed its range originally from its Asian roots, much of Regal products production now centres on its non-ethnic and growing sector. Specialities include Puff Pastry sweetmeats, Fruit Cake Slices, and classic Middle Eastern Rusks as well as an attractive and colourful array of packet Savouries and Nuts, Preserves, Spices and Fruit Juices. Distribution of the range is organised by the Group’s own logistics fleet throughout the U.K., supplying both specialist independent traders as well as an increasing sector of major multiples. It is rapidly extending its geographic areas into Europe, and has manufacturing facilities in Linden, New Jersey USA and in Lahore, Pakistan. From these bases it is fast expanding its presence and reputation throughout all the North American and South East Asian markets. Plans are well established to further develop and strengthen market share with leading U.K. and American multiples. Regal has ambitious plans to increase both its product range and its market share. While best known for its ethnic ranges, its facilities enable an aggressive development into new areas, where it invites collaboration with existing and potential new customers.
